We camped a night in a beautiful spot right off of the 101 in Northern California. After 7 hours of driving we were happy to find such a relaxing and quiet setting in nature. We set up our tent and our temporary kitchen and enjoyed an evening of reading, taking pictures, cooking, eating, talking and of course roasting marshmallows. We slept well on our new camping mattress despite the 8 hours of rain we endured. We woke up to wet shoes but very happy and headed toward Portland.
